Winter Fuel Payments are paid to you automatically. So if you get a text, email, phone call, Facebook message, or anything else, inviting you to apply, register, or sign up for them, it’s a SCAM, so you should ignore it.

You can report scam texts by forwarding them to 7726. Or for emails, forward them to report@phishing.gov.uk.
